ARC Team Process
ARC stands for “Advance Review Copy” and is a common practice in the publishing world to get a free copy of a book in exchange for an honest review.
Reviews help us to sell books and early reviews are important to the success of a book launch in today’s crowded book market. Reviews also encourage people to take a chance with a new author, especially an indie one.

Rules & Regs
WHAT WILL YOU GET?
- A free digital copy of the newest release, which you’ll get to read before everyone else.
- The chance to provide feedback and contribute to its success.
- Occasional surprises and thank you gifts in your inbox, because ARC readers are a crucial team member of every successful book launch!
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
- The number of available ARCs per title may be limited.
- There is no financial compensation for reviews.
- You are agreeing to read and post a review of this book prior to its release or within 3-4 days of its release (depending on the instructions in the ARC confirmation email.
- You review should include a star rating and at least 20 words, and must include the phrase: “I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.”
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
- Amazon requires all reviewers to have spent $50 or more in the last 12 months in order to leave a review. Also, if you are a family member and your address is listed in an author’s account, your review may not be published.
- If you’re selected to join the ARC Team, you’ll receive a link to download the book and instructions about posting reviews.
